1987
transmaritim Internationale Spedition GmbH was founded in Stuttgart and run by just 2 people.
1988
The telex machine is obsolete: purchase of fax machine, a rare novelty at that time, so as to make communication at home and abroad even more effective.
1989
There are now three of us.
1991
Foundation of the transmaritim Hamburg GmbH as an independent entity in a top area of the city.
1993
Moving the company to new premises in Stuttgart-Feuerbach. The number of people employed in Stuttgart rises to six, that in Hamburg to three.
1995
Foundation of the transmaritim aircargo GmbH at Stuttgart airport as an independent entity.
1998
The number of staff employed by transmaritim aircargo GmbH has risen to five, while a total workforce of 15 is employed in the company as a whole.
2000
Despite all the troubles we are still "alive and kicking": "fluctuat nec mergitur". The Munich branch is opened.
2001
Re-opening of the Hamburg branch with two employees for the time being.
2002
Together with transmaritim aircargo GmbH the company moves to the newly-built air-cargo center at Stuttgart airport.
We celebrate the new premises, which afford a spectacular view of the airport, and our 15th anniversary together with customers and business friends. We stick to our old motto: competent, compatible, competitive.
2003
Both companies, i.e. transmaritim Internationale Spedition GmbH and transmaritim aircargo GmbH, are merged into transmaritim international GmbH, which now has its joint head quarters at Stuttgart airport.
The company currently employs a total of 22 highly qualified staff members and offers traineeships to young people.
2006
Opening of our branch in Frankfurt.
